Bringing Happiness to Families

Purchasing the right toys or gifts can be a very stressful time for dream families due to the financial strain of ongoing medical treatments. Many Dreams Come True families simply do not have the time or resources to purchase gifts in preparation for special occasions because their lives are focused on making their child healthy again. Each year, we host our Dreams Come Toy Drive to help collect toys that will supply the Dreams Come True Holiday Shop, a free toy store for dream families during the holiday season. 

Each season, more than 150 dream families will visit the shop to choose the perfect gifts for their children. That means we always need 4,000+ toys to make the magic happen!

We collect toys year-round to prepare for the holidays and assist when we make special visits with Dreamers and their families.

Our holiday dinner baskets provide families with all the necessary goods to help them prepare the perfect dinner for Thanksgiving and/or Christmas. We aim to provide families at least 20 dinner baskets for each holiday. Local businesses or individuals interested in donating items (canned goods and/or gift cards) for our baskets are encouraged to contact us for dates and more details.

With our holiday adoption program, we match you with a specific family and their children’s Christmas list, which usually equals 10 items per child. You inform us with the number of children you are comfortable supporting and we will match you with a family within that requested number. You purchase and wrap the items, and then we set up a meet and greet at our office, or your business — providing you a chance to meet the family. Anonymous donor participation is also allowed.

If you would like to have yourself/company considered for participation in the 2026 holiday season, please email info@dreamscometrue.org. Our Holiday Adoption Program does fill up quickly. 

Each year, Dreams Come True hosts about 250 kids and their families for a safe and fun way to trick or treat. Dream families get to drive through our Trunk or Treat maze, holding nets outside their cars to receive the perfect treats from our community partners.

Local businesses and individuals are given the opportunity to participate in the event by decorating a car and/or providing volunteers to assist with the activities. Commitments from businesses/individuals to decorate a trunk are needed by September 1 each year. Please email info@dreamscometrue.org if you are interested in participating.
